I had an idea.

Good morning afternoon or evening depending on where or when your reading this.

Ive recently developed a great interest in all things timelapse and i was thinking….

How about maybe once a month i have people send in their faviourate/best timelapse to my email and ill feature my faviourate the following week explaining why i like it so much etc?

Just an idea i think it could be really cool i love sharing creative ideas and peoples amazing concepts. Now of corse this will not work without you guys and girls sending in your timelapses so have a think let me know what you think and send in your timelapses.

If you could also share either my blog or just this post about potentially sending in timelapses that would be awesome becasue the more interst we get on this the better it will be.

I want this to work and think it could be a really cool thing to do but i cant do it with out your help.

Q/A time.

Hello one and all i hope your having a lovely day.

Today i decided although i dont have many followers/readers for this blog currently, that i would offer up a potential Q/A time in the next week or so if anyone is interested in anything (within reason) about my life situation or what camera i have etc then please leave a comment below on this post or the usual drop me an email or dm on instagram (links will be below)

If this gets enough interest i may make it into a regualr thing like maybe once a month what do you think?

Personally i think for the first few i will answer them the best i can in a blog post with the potential to be filmed in the future depending on weather i can get over my anxiety and fear of being on camera, maybe thats something you guys could help me towards.

Or on the other side of things if your fed up of me talking about my personal encounters etc and are only interested in the photography side then tell me, let me know so you can help me become better.

How do you edit yours?

Welcome back,

Super short today i just uploaded some pictures from my walk around yesturday and was thinking how i should go about editing them if atall (brightness, exposure etc), which got me thinking what software does everyone else use?

I can’t currently afford photoshop or lightroom however i have the free version of both and also have a mixture of other free editing apps for my computer but i also have a few free apps such as snapseed and vsco on my htc phone.

I Find myself wanting to add my jpeg files to dropbox then export them onto my phone and edit them on however, i am worried that this will depreciate the quality far too much as my eyes are already  making it hard enough !!

Would or even do you edit on your phone often if atall? and what software do you reccomend/use on your computers?

Any advice/guidance will be greatly appreciated just drop me a comment or send me an email. (link at the bottom of the page)

Im not very good at editing images anyway but i want to be so please dont be too harsh on my images i am trying and i will get better with time and pratice.

Lastly before i go…. Two final questions…

Im looking for a new theme for my wordpress can you reccomend one ?

Is there a way i can make my ‘media’ page into physical albums to first click onto to open up a certain selection of pictures?

Getting back into the swing of things.

Hey everyone I hope your having a good day weather its morning afternoon or night.

I’m just sat in my front room waiting for some food to cook and thought I’d share my experience today.

The last few days have been really hard with depression and my eyes playing up but my wonderful girlfriend helped me through it last night and today we decided to take a walk around the lakes near my house. I reluctantly took my camera although I can’t focus of things very well that’s what auto focus is for right?

Anyway I only managed to take a few pictures due to it being so bloody cold but I took a shot on my HTC One m8 and I just had a little play with the adjustments in an app called snapseed and I really liked the image so I thought I’d share it on here.

I hope it looks as good as I see it as again I can’t focus on things very well at the moment.

Today I have felt slot better than I have the last few days I just hope I can make it last and really get back into photography this year and work on my anxiety so I’m not so scared all the time.

Let me reintroduce myself

Not entirely sure where or how to start this….

For the fear of writing another post that i do not post i shall try keep this short.

Ever since just after my 23rd birthday last year (august) i went on a little road trip/cruise to and around london for a big car show. Managed to stay up very late and didnt get home until around 8:30am the next day.

In between then and now i somehow have some kind of strange infection in my eyes it started off with an itchy eye, from there i went 100% blind for a little over a month.

As you can tell i can see alot better to what i could back then due to the fact im on here and you are reading this. 😀

Im still far from better and i havent driven my car for around 8 months now which for anyone that knows me knows how much thats sucks to me.

Somedays i can see okay and others not so good but still blurry and focusing on certain things is very hard, hence why i havent been on here nor picked my camera up to take pictures in a while which is really starting to get me down now. But as i just said i feel i can see a little better at the moment so i am going to cherish that and update my wordpress.

Sorry for the lack of images, posts etc lately i hope you understand.

I wont bother with any plugs this time round because nothing has been updated.

Photos!

Hey everyone,

hope your all having a great day and everything is going well for you.

I’m not entirely sure what to say about these photos that I am going to show from our walk round the lakes because it has been a little while since so I shall let the photos do the talking. however I will say after reviewing the photos im not very pleased with a few of the pictures but I will throw them up anyway for constructive criticism and maybe edit them better in the future.

One other question for everyone out there that edit their photos instead of adding it into a new blog post, what software do you use and what do you like the best about it ?

Sorting Through Things.

Hey everyone!

Welcome to another post on my blog.

Before we get started i would just like to make you aware this blog you are reading now was made on 07/sept/15 at approx. 04:30am i have been awake all night trying to edit some pictures from the walk i took with my girlfriend on the 22nd of august and just wanted to say they’re not going to be done until at very least tomorrow now as i need to get some form of sleep and im starting to go cross-eyed from looking at the pictures to long and becoming paranoid that they’re not very good.

But i have picked one to show right now so this read isn’t a complete waste of your time, i understand these aren’t all going to be amazing however im on an extremely steep learning curve and also extremely anxious about what they look like but im trying so please appreciate that. here you go….

Long Time Coming.

Hey Guys and Girls.

Id like to start off by saying the beginning of this blog will probably be a little all over the place as a lot has been happening since i last posted.

For starters id love to go into massive detail about what has been happening however im still not that great at blogging etc therefore most of what happened ill end up glossing over.

Basically before when i last left off i think the next episode of events was a HUGE cruise/tunnel run in london, it was absolutely epic even if the wheels that i borrowed for my car rubbed through my inner arch carpet and the weather was crap it was still none the less properly awesome. Sadly i never managed to get any pictures as we was running late behind the schedule but i got a few little videos of a few cars going through some tunnels which i shall throw up here if and when i get a chance to go through the footage. After this everything started to go down hill even more than usual ill try keep it short due to im sure you don’t want to read me moaning about bills and debt etc as i understand everyone has bills to pay blah blah.

The day we woke up after the tunnel run (we got back around 7am) i had an extremely sore right eye, thought nothing off it but the long and short of it is i have some sort of infection and have been given some eye drops to ‘help’ but if they don’t sort it then i have to go hospital to have some “special” eye drops. ive also been taking some painkillers along side which seem to kerb the migraine and pain i get for a little while hence how im able to sit at a computer to type this out!

Just before the tunnel run i got offered a new job “awesome” i thought but since the eye infection im unable to accept the offer, and now my bills are due 😦 not good so now i have to take my car off the road and become in even more debt with two new company’s, my phone company and car insurance as for some reason it costs more to cancel your monthly payments to car insurance than is does to carry on paying however i only have around 14p in my account so i am screwed and it only ever seems to get worse.

Not really sure what to do about any thing anymore feeling super down and fed up and loosing motivation fast, absolutely gutted!

Sorry about the negativity in this post i shall try to pick it up and stop feeling sorry for myself.

Anyone that loves cars even half as much as me will understand how heart breaking it is to have to take your car off the road especially when its going to make it ten times harder to get a job now.

Unexpected.

Hey everyone!

These last few days since my birthday have been a little poop due to general things going wrong and stressful situations etc.

But recently (Sunday 23rd Aug) morning kinda as me and my girlfriend woke up late due to not getting to sleep until very late the night before, I noticed an event on my Facebook and it was for a jdm meet (japanese car meet) and I have a soft spot for japanese cars as anyone that knows me or even pays attention to previous posts may have picked up on the fact I have a huge passion for cars and everything to do with them. so I decided we was going to go to the meet even though at the time it was raining we was assured it would stop so we took it easy and got ready slowly as I said we got up rather late and sure enough it stopped raining. As you may have observed my car is a german make I quickly confirmed that I would be allowed to attend this meet due to this, they replied saying that any car was welcome which was great.

Anyway we drove over on our own as no one else was ready at the time and wouldn’t have been for a little while, and we had a quick walk round the cars (it was pretty busy) and of course if you have ever been to a car meet such as this one you’ll know you always get the nasty people who are brainless idiots that try to ruin these events for everyone. however they soon saw that no one was giving them the time of day and I got this warm feeling in my stomach that things were going fairly well and so I decided to crack out my camera, which may not sound like a lot to some people in fact most people however I was extremely nervous as there was a lot of people and I was just generally very anxious.

Quick summary of the night, friends arrived I brought some new tint film and bulbs for my lupo (lola) it’s the first thing ive brought myself other than essentials like food and drink for over a year so it felt good even if it was something very inexpensive and small it still made me feel good. I then proceeded to then take a few photos however stupidly I didn’t check my focus properly and a lot of my pictures ended up quite blurry however I shall upload a small album onto this post to show what I did get all be it they’re not fantastic. (SorryNotSorry)

After this we got speaking to an old friend of mine who has a huge american truck. He mentioned to us about a tunnel run in london this bank holiday sunday straight away I though can’t afford it but because my girlfriend wants to go so bad she agreed to help out with fuel and I also have another friend lending me some better wheels for the trip down so its going to happen I hope as I havent been to london in such a long time and I love that place.

The only current problem I have is with the headlights I brought I fitted them the sunday night after the meet and on the drive home I noticed the left headlight was shining off to the side quite badly so I will have to look at getting that sorted before we go on bank holiday sunday. hopefully I wont forget to focus and charge my cameras this time!! I’ll also take my GoPro so I can try get some clips of some awesome cars although ive noticed the GoPro isnt overly great at night however should be fine as we will be driving through tunnels. Still havent used the GoPro under water come to think of it im really excited to try it and see what it looks like im just nervous that itll be my luck that it leaks or something!!.
